Those preparing for Confirmation will attend sessions approximately twice per month beginning in October through January. We will meet immediately following the 11:30AM Mass.

Confirmation Sponsor form and certificate
Please note that this due by November 1 of your 8th grade year. Each sponsor must obtain a certificate of eligibility from their parish. If the sponsor is a St. Charles parishioner, Monsignor will give you a certificate after any Mass on the weekends.

Confirmation Name
Each candidate is to choose 3 saints to learn about. You will then choose one of them to be your sponsor name. Your confirmation name should be a reflection of who you would like to imitate in your life. Choose someone who inspires you. Your saint might share a name with a relative you are close to. Use this chance to think about what you hope you will receive from the Sacrament of Confirmation and how you hope to live as a Confirmed Catholic.

Other Requirements:
- Mass reflections - after Mass, you are required to submit a Mass reflection during February/March
- Spring Mass Participation requirement.
- Youth are required to attend parish penance service in Lent.
- Summer Service Retreat Experience - outh will attend one summer service session. Youth will meet at St. Charles on Friday from 11 to 3PM. On Saturday, youth with a parent will serve at Loaves and Fishes in Trenton. Afterwards, youth will return to St. Charles for closing session. We will all attend the 5PM Mass together. Dates and sign ups will be in January
