On November 1, the Catholic church remembers all the holy men and women who have gone before us as models of faith - All Saints Day. We think about how their lives inspire us.
In honor of All Saints Day, your assignment this week is to learn about saint that you don't know about. This is a great project for those who are thinking about Confirmation names. If you have already chosen a name, try to find someone you don't really know and see what you can learn. I will list some resources below to help you search. Think about how this person inspires you.
Then, you can do one of these things:
1. Write a summary of this saint that could teach someone else about him/her
2. Create a powerpoint teaching about this saint
3. Write a play with your saint in it. Be creative! Think about what your saint might say or do.
4. Find some other way to highlight your saint. Are you an artist? Maybe draw a picture. Be creative and have fun!
There is no formal collection of your work, but we would love to see it!! Please send your project to Cathy at csouto@borromeo.org.
